This 8-Day group safari gives extra time to explore Tanzania’s northern circuit in depth: Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti, and Tarangire, with a full day dedicated to the Serengeti’s wildlife-rich plains.
Departing from Nairobi via the Namanga border, this itinerary combines tree-climbing lions at Lake Manyara, a crater floor game drive at Ngorongoro, and elephant viewing in Tarangire’s baobab woodland before returning to Nairobi.
You will be picked from your Hotel on time and dropped at the departure point of the shuttle bus, where you will meet with the other travellers and depart for Arusha via Namanga for immigration formalities, afterwards proceeding on to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon or early evening. Drop at your Hotel booked on bed and breakfast.
You will be picked after breakfast from your Hotel and depart for Lake Manyara with lunch enroute, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or campsite.
You will be picked from your Hotel or Camp after breakfast, with a game drive enroute as you proceed for your final game viewing on the drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with your lunch enroute, arriving in the afternoon. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the seven wonders of Africa. Later, drop at the Camp/Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you will be picked by your guide and proceed to descend 2,000ft down into the Ngorongoro Crater, exploring and viewing animals until you arrive at the crater rim. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater, ascend, and drive to Serengeti, arriving in the evening and dropping at the camp or Lodge for dinner and overnight.
You will be picked after breakfast and proceed with a game drive in Serengeti with your picnic lunches. Enjoy the game drive in this famous National Park, where you will see a lot of animals alongside the spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat. Full day of game viewing with dinner and overnight in the Lodge or campsite.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire, arriving in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in this park, the most beautiful in Tanzania in terms of animal concentration and abundant vegetation. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Campsite.
After breakfast and your final game drive in the park, depart for Arusha with lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at the budget hotel.
After breakfast, pick up from the hotel and transfer to an AM shuttle bus to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon, where you will be dropped at your hotel or the Airport. If you wish to proceed to Zanzibar, we can drop you at Arusha Airport instead.
