This 5-Day group safari begins in Nairobi and crosses into Tanzania to explore Lake Manyara, famous for tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos, before continuing to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.
After an overland transfer through the Namanga border, enjoy game drives at Lake Manyara and a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s seven natural wonders, before returning to Nairobi.
You will be picked from your Nairobi hotel in good time to connect with the AM shuttle and be dropped at the departure area, where you will board the bus to Arusha via the Namanga border for immigration formalities, proceeding on to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon/early evening. Drop at the hotel for overnight, booked on bed and breakfast.
After breakfast your guide will pick you up and proceed to Lake Manyara with your lunch enroute, continuing for a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or campsite.
After breakfast your guide will pick you up from your Lodge or Camp, with a game drive enroute, and proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with your lunch enroute, arriving in the afternoon. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the seven wonders of Africa. Later, drop at the Camp/Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you will be picked by your guide and proceed to descend 2,000ft down into the crater, exploring and viewing animals until you arrive at the crater rim. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater, ascend, and drive to Arusha where you will be dropped at the Arusha Hotel booked on bed and breakfast.
After breakfast, pick up from the hotel and transfer to an AM shuttle bus to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon, where you will be dropped at your hotel or the Airport. If you wish to proceed to Zanzibar, we can drop you at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport instead.
