5 DAYS SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast your driver will pick you up from your Hotel to meet with the rest of the group you will be travelling with, and proceed to Serengeti National Park with your lunch enroute. Later you will proceed for an afternoon game drive. Serengeti is one of the most popular national parks in Tanzania, not only during the annual migration when wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle join the trek to look for fresh grazing. The Serengeti’s wildlife includes buffalo, giraffe, eland, impala, Grant’s gazelle, lion, cheetah, leopard, and the African jackal among others. Dinner and overnight will be at the Lodge or Camp.

After breakfast you will be picked by your guide at an agreed time and drive into Serengeti National Park for game viewing, an active time of day when it’s not yet hot, so there is a lot to see. Almost uniquely, all three African jackal species occur here, alongside the spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat. Full day of game viewing with dinner and overnight in the Lodge or campsite.

After breakfast the driver will pick you and proceed for a final game drive in Serengeti with your lunch enroute, then proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in the evening. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the seven wonders of Africa. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

After breakfast you will be picked by your guide and proceed to descend 2,000ft down into the crater, exploring and viewing animals until you arrive at the crater rim. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater, ascend, and drive to Arusha where you will be dropped at the Arusha Hotel booked on bed and breakfast.

After breakfast, pick up from the hotel and transfer to an AM shuttle bus to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon, where you will be dropped at your hotel or the Airport. If you wish to proceed to Zanzibar, we can drop you at Arusha Airport instead.
