Join this 3-Day group safari through two of Tanzania’s most iconic parks, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, departing directly from Arusha to maximize your time in the wild.
Highlights include an afternoon game drive on arrival in the Serengeti, famous for the Great Migration and its resident predators, and a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s seven natural wonders, before returning to Arusha.
After breakfast your driver will pick you up from your Hotel to meet with the rest of the group you will be travelling with, and proceed to Serengeti National Park with your lunch enroute. Later you will proceed for an afternoon game drive. Serengeti is one of the most popular national parks in Tanzania, not only during the annual migration when wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle join the trek to look for fresh grazing. The Serengeti’s wildlife includes buffalo, giraffe, eland, impala, Grant’s gazelle, lion, cheetah, leopard, and the African jackal among others. Dinner and overnight will be at the Lodge or Camp.
After breakfast the driver will pick you and proceed for a final game drive in Serengeti with your lunch enroute, then proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in the evening. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the seven wonders of Africa. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.
After breakfast you will be picked by your guide and proceed to descend 2,000ft down into the crater, exploring and viewing animals until you arrive at the crater rim. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater, ascend, and drive to Arusha where you will be dropped at the Arusha Hotel booked on bed and breakfast.
